Dock Armor Fenders are built for years of service in demanding marine environments. We stand behind our products with a five-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
What We Cover
For five years from the original retail purchase date, Dock Armor Fenders warrants our products against defects in materials and workmanship when properly installed, used, and maintained according to our instructions.
If we determine that a product has a covered defect, Dock Armor Fenders will, at our discretion, repair the affected product, replace it with a new, refurbished, or functionally equivalent product or component, or, when repair or replacement is not practical, provide a credit or refund for the affected product.
What Is Not Covered
Dock Armor Fenders are designed to help protect boats and docks from normal docking contact. Like any protective fender system, they are subject to forces outside our control.
Our warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:
• Boat collisions, severe impacts, accidents, or excessive loads • Improper installation, mounting, maintenance, repair, or use • Dock movement, structural problems, unsuitable mounting surfaces, or incompatible dock construction • Extreme weather, tides, waves, flooding, lightning, fire, vandalism, or other events outside our control • Alterations or modifications not approved by Dock Armor Fenders • Hardware, fasteners, accessories, or materials not approved by Dock Armor Fenders • Use outside the product's intended purpose or published specifications • Normal wear and tear • Cosmetic scratches, dents, fading, discoloration, or deterioration that does not materially affect the product's function
Damage caused by an impact or collision is not considered a defect in materials or workmanship.
Installation and Other Costs
The warranty applies to the Dock Armor product itself. Unless required by applicable law, the warranty does not cover labor, installation, removal, reinstallation, shipping, transportation, inspection, site access, engineering, permitting, storage, downtime, or loss of use.
Who Is Covered
The five-year limited warranty applies to the original retail purchaser who purchased the product directly from Dock Armor Fenders or from an authorized reseller. The warranty is not transferable.
Repair or replacement does not restart the five-year warranty period. Any repaired or replacement product is covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
If you purchased your Dock Armor Fenders through an authorized reseller, please contact your reseller first. They will assist you with your claim.
If you purchased directly from Dock Armor Fenders, contact us with:
• Proof of purchase • Product and purchase date • A description of the problem • Photos or video showing the issue • Photos of the installation and surrounding dock, when applicable
Please do not remove, repair, modify, discard, or replace the affected product before giving Dock Armor Fenders a reasonable opportunity to inspect it, except when necessary to address an immediate safety issue.
